Founded in 1992, Helheim is one of the cornerstones of the norwegian viking and black metal scene. "Heiðindómr Ok Mótgangr" is the band's seventh album and shows them in top form. Progressive Black Metal and the typical, sublime Viking Metal then merge into great dark art, which is not necessarily easy to consume, but is all the more sustainable.
