Singaporean war metallers IMPIETY are back with their ninth full length album. Fierce drums and blasphemous guitars drive in an onslaught of pure blackened hatred with gutturals snarls and a raw mix to finish this punishing soundscape of tormenting aggression. Bombarding us with primitive riffing and skull-crushing drum work, there is an impenetrably brutal sound that was only lacking whammy dives, which take about a minute to appear. IMPIETY have no lack of experience which shows in their energetic delivery and tight musicianship which when they divert briefly from the barbaric flow of savagery for the occasional progression you can see the prowess of their skills which never become obnoxious or over-utilised, favouring a simplistic but undeniably caustic assault of pure blackened death metal disdain.
