With "damned in black" Immortal have created an incredibly well produced album. Brilliant, hammer hard riffs and a discreetly used keyboard create a dark atmosphere, and although it can hardly be compared with the relevant black metal of the early 90's (Darkthrone and the likes), this album is simply awesome!
