"All hail pessimism" has a lot to offer and it's quite obvious it wasn't recorded without the band members knowing exactly what they were going to do beforehand. Influences from bands like older Gorgoroth, Grand-Declaration-Era Mayhem, Dødheimsgard and even Arcturus are all there, mixed with Den Saakaldte's unique style and musical approach to provide a very unique experience. An incredible improvement from their debut!
