This legendary band was formed back in 1988 and has been a great inspiration for so many other acts in this genre. Although her influence on other musicians was so significant, it was never enough for her own commercial success. To this day, EYEHATEGOD are still among the most popular representatives of the Sludge / Doom scene. Rather, they can be understood as the founders of this genre, because their mix of hardcore punk, industrial and doom metal did not exist before. Apart from a small break in 2000, the band is still active today and released their last album in 2014. "Dopesick" was originally released in 1996.
