OBSCURITY, one of Germany's longest running Viking Death Metal bands, just can't be broken. They remain a bastion of continuity and, even with Skogarmaors, only set to the kind of music they can vouch for themselves. "Skogarmoars" is the band's 9th album, with power and enthusiasm. With the bonus track they dared an experiment and musically they broke out of joint with moderation. Skogarmaors is not a concept album, so it takes up a wide range of lyrical themes. Elements of Nordic mythology as well as socially current aspects find their place in the lyrics.
