The film and image material used in the videos comes from a wide variety of hikes and cycling holidays that have accumulated at Fix over the past few years. The focus is exclusively on natural scenes and cultural monuments. #### The Thuringian formation ODROERIR belong to the spearhead of German folk and pagan metal and have gained a reputation as a profound and authentic band with three long players so far, which also knows how to convince live. In the summer of 2017 comes, not as expected Götterlieder III, but a pure folk and acoustic album, which Fix produced single-handedly and in which numerous guest musicians were also involved. ODROERIR were on tour in 2006 with Eluveitie and then also with Tyr, Black Messiah, Suidakra, XIV Dark Centuries, Gernotshagen, Fimbulvet and Finsterforst. Not to forget numerous club concerts and festival performances. Right from the start ODROERIR's music was supposed to be a quieter version of so-called Pagan Metal. The arrangements come without speed attacks or double bass drums, but contain many acoustic guitars and multi-faceted vocal passages. A major influence on composer and band founder Fix were Bathory's Viking albums. However, ODROERIR go a big step further, because a number of string, plucked and wind instruments known from folklore are also used. In terms of content, Fix deals with the multifaceted area of Germanic and/or Celtic mythology, the early history and prehistory of pagan Europe - i.e. the life, becoming and dying of our ancestors. He avoids the often political and esoteric phrases of other genre bands and reflects on new interpretations of old sagas and fairy tales or on rhyming treatises on proven historical events. Musical history lessons can be so exciting!
